Venice Getaway 4 Nights

Giacomo Casanova, one of Venice’s most famous sons and one of the most famous lovers of all time, wrote “The Story of My Life,” where the reader learns all about his adventures in the 18th century. How about you? What would “The Story of Your Life” include? Fun and adventures? Or stress and frustration? Let Monograms handle your Venice vacation details, and we assure you the Venice portion of your story will be full of fun and enjoyment—not stress and hassles! In fact, on this Venice trip, we’ve arranged your hotel reservations, sightseeing, and daily breakfast. Plus, we’ve arranged the services of a Monograms Local Host®, someone who is there throughout your Venice trip to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help ensure your vacation runs smoothly.

Your Italy trip begins the moment you arrive in Venice, as we can pick you up at the airport and take you to your selected hotel. Here, your Local Host will welcome you with a warm smile and a set of materials to familiarize you with the city. The next morning, after included breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hotel for guided sightseeing with a local expert. We’ll take you to see St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, dating back over 1,000 years. You’ll also visit Doges’ Palace, a symbol of Venice built in 1340, and the Bridge of Sighs, built in the 1600s and offering prisoners their last view of Venice before their imprisonment. We have also arranged for you to watch a glassmaking demonstration with skilled glassblowers. Glassmaking has always been important in Venice’s history, and you’ll learn why during this demonstration.

You’ll also have time to explore on your own. Your Local Host will offer suggestions and help you arrange the activities you desire. Perhaps ride on a traditional gondola as you are serenaded through Venice’s canals. Maybe take a ghost walking tour or visit nearby Murano. You may just want to wander the city’s maze of alleys as you shop for the perfect carnival mask or Murano glassware.

Did we mention we’ve included entrances to Marciana Library, one of the oldest Italian libraries built in the 16th century, and the Correr Museum and Archaeological Museums, which offer interesting insight into Venice’s art and history, a collection of Greek and Roman sculptures, and Italian and Egyptian remains? It’s just another added feature included by Monograms! Between those entrances, the hotel we’ve booked, the sightseeing we’ve included, and the guides we’ve arranged, all you have to do is sit back and relax in this car-free, romantic city! Add the comfort of knowing you’ll have a Local Host throughout your stay in Venice to assist you, and you’ve got the perfect chapter to “The Story of Your Life.”
